In March 2016, my then fiancé decided to get married in Vegas. We got on the phone and contacted bookit to plan our vacation/wedding. I spoke to an agent whom was very nice and even allows me to contact a few other airlines etc to price check and call her back directly. Things were going well...We booked for June 23-26 at the Stratosphere and American Airlines. After I got off the phone with the agent ,the itinerary was sent to me. I noticed that the date read June 23-25. I immediately email the agent to make spence of it. I told her that I noticed our check out is for June 25 before 11a. Since we had said June 26 was our departure day I was puzzled. The agent resplied back saying that because our flight departed at 12:49a on June 26 the hotel would not charge for the full day of the 26th. I then replied "Ok thank u, just don't ant to get kicked out. That was the end of that coversation...trip was booked and I started to plan my wedding. Fast forward June 25th...my now husband did a few errands in Vegas, upon returning to our room the key card would not work. We were puzzled...headed to front desk only to be told we were supposed to be out at 11a....whhhhaaaaattttt? After speaking to manager, we were told we had to either pay for the day of 300 plus or a late check out fee in order to go to room to get luggage. I was so hurt and disappointed. Our mini moon was ruined. We paid for late check out (money we really didn't have) I called Bookit and was laced on hold for what seemed like an eternity only up have the person say there was nothing they could do. I told her I want to speak to a supervisor (hold again)...supervisor/manager never came on phone. I told the agent I had emails she tells me to send to supervisor. She provided the email address and I confirmed it to be sure. Emails were forwarded to supervisor only to not have supervisor acknowledge receipt. No calls or email. Called again on Mon -June 27...another agent...said no notes so I had to tell story alllllll over! Hold again for over 30 min....agent came back...on hold again...again not able to speak to supervisor. Then I am told that they will have to listen to call and in about 3-4 days contact me with resolution. I am not sure if I will ever use book it again. I await the results. How can a manager not speak to a customer.

Bookit.com is a scam. They pretend to offer sales, but if you need to chànge or hàve any additional questions, they pretend to hàve gotten disconnected and never call u back.They quickly answer the phone when you want to book, but anything other than that, you will have atleast a 2 hr wait. I am so pissed off, i can't hardly breath. Lesson learned. To good to be true

I would be happy paying more than actually deal with all the frustration and aggravation this company has put me through. All I wanted was to book a family vacation for my family and my brother's family and get in the same hotel with same flights! Well 3 hours later, we are on separate flights; and I don't mean I called 3 hours later, I mean I was on the phone with Bookit.com for 3 hours. The representatives are incompetent and slow. It could have been an easy fix and they just wasted enough time for us to be stuck in those packages or we would have had to pay hundreds of dollars more to cancel and reschedule, all because they are too slow and incompetent.

Agree. This is a bunch of mess.

They never returned any of my phone calls.The guy I worked with gave me somebody else's extension.

The better business bureau needs to shut this company down.3 hrs on the phone with no results. Lesson learned

What a horrible experience from start to finish. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. First off, my mother and I were set to go to Hawaii. As a minor, we had to keep everything other my mother's name. Unfortunately, Bookit didn't seem to understand that. Not only did they omit my name on most of our planned activities (which doesn't really matter... You'll read why), but they decided to give us a hard time about that. Bookit also didn't accommodate the fact that we asked for an oceanfront premier room with two queen beds, which was confirmed with the lady who booked us, but somehow got turned into a "king sized bed with no ocean". The hotel we stayed at was definitely not worth staying at either, considering the fact that bookit omitted to mention that their staff was rude. Not only that, but checkout time was supposed to be at 11. It turns out it wasn't until 3. So we had no room until 3. It was about noon. Most of our activities were either way too expensive for the pay or cancelled. Bookit never bothered to follow up with us about any of this. We had at call so many times. We demanded a refund. I am pissed. Don't use Bookit. Ever.

Do not use this company. Flew all the ways to Jamaica want to check into my hotel and they did not have the reservation. They called book it.com and book it.com set that I canceled the reservation which I never did and then an hour...

I booked a trip through Bookit.com in january for my 25th anniversary in may. Thought it was a great deal. When I went to print out the boarding passes the night before the trip, I was told the airline had changed my flight. Spent hours on the phone trying to rectify the problem, and had to put out more money to catch a different flight. I was told that Frontied airline sent an email out to me in february. I never received it and when I asked for proof , they could not proved it. Was also told a phone cal was made but also they could not provide that either. I would have never agreed the any changes as the hotel and shuttle dates would not jive up with the original booking. We made the trip and it was great but am now out more money than the original booking. Tried to get reimbursed or at least a credit for future booking. No luck. Don't use this service, they do not stand behind their reservations.

No, the issue was never resolved. as far as they were concerned we were able to book another flight and pay more out of pocket to do so but made it to our destination.

as a travel agency they should have been reputable and honored the original booked price through them. It was a hassle as well to get a flight the night before and pay the higher price

In the terms on the site it does lay out out that it is the guest's responsibility to regularly check their flight status for any possible schedule changes. Anyone that has traveled a lot will tell you airline's can change/cancel/move flights as they see fit.

Any email a travel site receives about an updated schedule change will be sent to the customer's email.

Instead of blaming bookit.com for your flights changing take some responsibility that you did not check on your flights status and take it as an expensive lesson. PAY ATTENTION to all terms and conditions and understand the travel agency wants you to have the best experience possible and did not change your flights!

Bookit - Railroad Hotel Robbery with Book-It

Customers beware of a "special price" involving this hotel in Williams, Arizona. For nearly $200/night We got to drive around the complex for 25 minutes with 3/4 parking lots inaccessible and under construction! Your room is small, and and you wind around in a maze to the lobby. I was greeted by a skunk when I finally found the entry building for my room! The pool and jacuzzi area were littered with trash and dirty towels! I was ready to leave when unable to access the room after 25 minutes of driving in the dark....with Book-it's special....there are NO REFUNDS! Customers are stuck with poor quality for a high price!! This is my first and last time using Book-it! *** job to market customers to waste their vacation paying big bucks while the facility is undergoing construction! Don't Do It! Bookit - Poor Customer Service – Last-Minute Downgrade!

I am extremely disappointed in my experience with BookIt.com!!! I booked a trip (flight and all-inclusive hotel) 9 1/2 months in advance; only to have BookIt.com change the resort and DOWNGRADE our room one week prior to travel! We had booked a suite and were downgraded to a studio room at an entirely different resort than originally booked. To highlight just a few of the things in the room we had originally booked, but were not in the room BookIt.com moved us: Balcony or terrace, Integrated lounge area with 2 steps between levels, with sofa or sofa bed; unobstructed ocean view - there was a tree right outside the window; More spacious room; Bathroom with hydromassage bathtub; Ceiling fan; Minibar; Liquor dispenser. BookIt.com argued with me, repeatedly stating the rooms were comparable. I have never heard of a company downgrading a customer’s original reservation, especially when the reason for the last-minute switch is due to that company’s “internal issues” - this is the reason BookIt.com provided for the switch. I spoke with an Operation Support Analyst about our room swap and am highly dissatisfied with the response I received. At first, I was told BookIt.com would not be offering a refund or a credit. I asked for management contact. After being put on hold for 10-15 minutes, the same gal came back on the line to tell me her manager was on a call with another customer, but said BookIt.com was prepared to offer: $50 towards one future BookIt.com travel, to be used within one calendar year of the date of issuance. Upon declining this offer, she said the manager would not be able to speak with me that same day, but assured me the manager would most definitely call tomorrow. It has been more than 24 hours and I have not heard from a manager at BookIt.com.

My ordeal at the end of my trip just about killed me. Being stuck on the phone in a Jamaican check in line being told that I am not on the flight that is on my itinerary was the absolute worst way to end my trip. Not once was there anything communicated to anyone regarding any kind of change made to our vacation. I was told that I was supposed to be on the flight the day before ending my entire trip by one day. How this type of mistake happens I do not know. How you can just end someone's trip by one day and the hotel didn't know is a mystery to me. Being told you have to pay for a flight is beyond ridiculous. I wish it didn't take me three hours of time to get the problem cleared up. Thankfully I flew Jet Blue and they were willing to assist me a lot more than the rep on the phone from Bookit who was a. Telling me that I will have to pay for the difference in flight and b. Telling me that I won't make the flight because clearing the issue up will take time. Not my fault, shouldn't be my problem. They tried to put the blame on me saying hat I should've checked in online the. I would've known. Uh no! You shortened by trip and have me no communication about it. Then she told me that I should've logged into my bookit account. Like what! Blaming your customer for such a ridiculous mistake. Almost leaving them stuck in a Montego Bay airport because you basically were on the phone sounding like there was no solution other than us paying over $1000 for new flights. Officially no longer a client, used to rave about their site and prices to everyone. Book directly through the airlines. Even if there's a problem they solve it!
