I book a room back in April of this year an went to the hotel butt was told they cancel my room cause I stay within 30miles of the company, so they told me they going to send a email to bookit to cancel my room so I can get a refund still haven't got a refund an can't get anybody on the phone from bookit to refund my $ back. They tell me they trying to call the hotel to see if I stayed there which now the hotel tell me they will not refund me my money cause I did a bad review online on my Facebook. For the Knight Inn in Morrow Ga please don't use this company. On hold now with bookit an it's been 30mins after so long the call drop. Now about to do a complaint with the BBB

Horrible service, Do not use Bookit

My wife and I booked a all inclusive trip to cabo in april, We were supposed to leave September 3rd, Hurricane Lydia hit, We tried to cancel, They give us the run around for 3 days past the cancellation window, After being on the phone for 5 hours they denied our refund, We couldn't get in contact with the resort because it was devastated by the hurricane, 2 days ago i talked to the airlines and the resort they had refunded Bookit, They still refuse to reimburse our money, We have been ripped off for the amount of $2300I should have done my homework, They have a D- rating with the BBB

These people are theives

Booked a resort and flights through Bookit. Flights cancelled because of Hurricane Harvey out of Houston. Refunded only a portion of the refund for the resort. Did not follow their own cancellation policy which was in writing by email to me. I am owed for over $500.00. Have contacted them several times and keep talking to people in Jamaica. Will not let me speak to anyone at headquarters in Florida. SCAM When you call any of their phone numbers you will be on hold for a real long time. If you ask a question you will be put on hold again for a long time. all the numbers go to Jamaica. These people will not let you talk to anyone in the states. They have a D- rating by the BBB.

Very bad experience! Do not use!

I tried to modify my reservation due to a Hurricane, to the following week. I literally was hold automated hold for more than 4 hours and 23 minutes before someone picked up. And then, they had to transfer me to "customer service", who answered and then the phone went dead. I did this twice in one day! Absolutely horrible service. I tried moving my hotel arrangements to the following week; even went online and tried to change the hotel completely, but there's no way to change without losing 50% of my money. --- I tried to modify my reservation due to a Hurricane, to the following week. Buyer Beware!!!

Do NOT USE THIS SITE!! They do not have any customer service worth a darn. If you book airfare with them and there is a chance to upgrade through the airline at check in you are barred from taking advantage of this. They just keep hanging up on you , tell you the department handling that type of thing is closed, tell you to call back, etc. I would NEVER USE AGAIN! I am seriously worried what our room will be like when we arrive tomorrow.

In phoenix. Bell rd. Made reservation weeks ago through book it . Com. 1st fl smoking. Refrigerator 2 beds. We got 1st fl no smoking. No refrig 1 bed. Manager cancelled our reservation to give us lower rate. But we list the points from book it. We put ice in sink to keep food cold. We have several items for dogs. Lost large bag of shredded cheese because water got in. Also can of dog food. Turns out they did have a refrig i could have used. Manager kept coming by saying he could switch us to a room with 2 beds. We were already unpacked so we said no. Wouldnt have fixed the other problems. The tv s are set to volume 40. Which you can barely hear. Unhappy !!!!!!!!

Terrible

We booked our trip with book it and then regretted it. First, they had put our seats, a family of 3 which has a 6 year old, in 3 different seats on the plane. We had to ask other people if they would mind changing seats with us. The person on the phone who helped us, told us noting about having different seats, knowing we have a child who will be coming on the trip. Secondly, we were told the car rental will be right outside the terminal, not only was it npr outside the terminal but we had to take a 20min shuttle ride to it. On top of that, we did not know which shuttle we are taking, as there were student ones for different rentals. We stood outside with our luggages at hand and a tired 6 year old, calling bookit to find out which company our car rental will be from. No info provided in the email at all. And because we booked with a "third"party, our hotel did not include anything, no breakfast no lunch nothing. Every time we called bookit to complain, we were put on hold for 20 minutes and hung up on. We spend 4 hours in total of our vacation on holds and hang ups only to get NO WHERE WITH THEM, but offering $25then $50 off or next trip with them, LIKE THAT WOULD EVER HAPPEN. WOSRT PLACE TO BOOK WITH, DON'T RECOMMEND IT TO MY ENEMY.

Do nto use Bookit!

Did an all inclusive through them. Turns out airport they offered was 4 hours away from the resort they offered. There was not one note that this was the case. When I get to the airport I was surrounded by taxi drivers offering to take me for $400. Most companies let you know differences in time to get to accommodations ect. Indicated by asterisk or highlighted. This is something the should've told me. I even spoke to them on the phone for help with the initial booking and no one mentioned it. This is something I should've know prior to going there for the first time ever. They would do nothing to help me.

Worst I have ever had

I booked my hotel reservations with Bookit.com. I called the hotel (resort) in advance with some questions, and found out my booking was for a total of 6, and I had a party of 7. The Summit informed me that the booking would not accommodate my party of 7, but to call Bookit or Expedia and they could change my reservations to another resort in their network because other condos were available, but because of Bookit policy, they would need to approve it first. I called them, explained the situation, and Bookit would not work with me on changing it. I had family on their way to my house to leave the following morning, car reserved, and we was to head out the next morning. After an hour of speaking with a representative & the supervisor I was informed the only thing they could do was cancel my reservation, turn it over to their team for review for a possible refund, and it would take 72 hours for my funds to be refunded ( I paid in full for this almost 2 weeks in advance). I explained my family from out of town were on their way, and I could not wait 72 hours to re book after their "team" reviewed my case to see if I could be refunded my money. I was crying at this point, offered to pay more for an upgrade even though I booked for 7 (myself, 3 adults, 3 children). The Summit was unable to help me due to the way Bookit does their business. I had to tell my fiancé the situation, and that he would not be able to go in order for us to not disappoint the Grand Children by not getting to visit the beach. It was a horrible experience with dealing with the travel agent Bookit. I tried every way possible, gave them the reservation clerks name at Summit Resorts name along with a number Bookit could have contacted to arrange a change of their booking, and the supervisor of Bookit summed it up as they gave me the option of canceling, and letting their team decide if I could be refunded 72 hours later or not. Doing this would have meant losing my booking, my vacation funds tied up for 3 days (and possibly not being refunded, that would be left up to the "team"), and that was not even an option with my family already on the road to here for us to leave out the following morning.My vacation I planned out, paid for in advance was destroyed, shattered, and ruined by having to tell my fiancé he could not go in order for the Grand kids , my daughter, and son in law to be able to go after traveling here. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS TRAVEL AGENCY.

I deserve at best, a partial refund. You can not put a price on having to tell one of your guest they can not go on a prepaid family vacation.

They booked my Fiancé and I in an all inclusive hotel in Cancun. We realized there were issues with our flights (that we also booked through bookit) when I called the airlines to check in. We ended up having to go down the next day. We never got any sort of emails or anything from bookit telling us there was a flight change and we had to confirm new tickets. So we called bookit and the resort letting them know we would be there a day late, please don't think we're not coming we will be there. It was put into the notes of our reservation and everything. Show up to the hotel and guess what? They sold our room because we didn't show up the first day. Called bookit and was on hold for no exaggeration 1.5 hours, just to fiure out what went wrong. The resort was 100% booked so we had to book another. We had to completely pay for another one because they said while we will get a refund from the first resort we won't get it until a couple days. We needed up paying for two resorts...and we still have yet to receive the refund. Bookit is telling us we need to get the resort to refund us, and the resort is saying that bookit has the money. Regardless someone has a nice chunk of our money. We've been calling bookit everyday and now they've started telling us that the agent dealing with our issue is on vacation so they're gonna review her notes and call us back...they never call us back. Bookit is fine, unless you have any sort of issues then they are the last people in the world you want to deal with.

Bait & Switch Fraudulent Scam

They refuse to connect you to any person in their accounting department to discuss the refund...you can only deal with the booing agents which is completely bazaar.

I talked for over an hour to an agent at bookit.com, defining very clearly that we were interested ONLY in "all-inclusive" resorts for a vacation we'd saved up for over a year for. Very clearly we explained we wouldn't even consider packages that weren't all-inclusive. The agent told us which properties to click on and we reviewed those within our perameters. Going over all the details of many packages, we narrowed it down to a couple. We had the agent again verify ALL the details of the "all inclusive" package and confirmed, over $2000. which is an enormous amount of money for my family. When we received the email confirmation, the very top of the email says NOT ALL INCLUSIVE. Immediately we call back and canceled, demanding a refund of our money so we could find a more reputable vacation company to plan our vacation. 20 minutes later, we're on the phone to cancel, and we had to wait on the line for 47 minutes before someone came on the line to speak with us...47 minutes!!!! Then the person tells us it will be 10 days before our money will be refunded.....10 days!!! It's now 10 days later and there is no sign our money is being refunded. The tactic was clearly a fraudulent "bait and switch" and I'm amazed this company is still in business. Unfortunately, after the fact, we're reading all the other negative, horrible reviews about bookit.com. I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone and I will continue to post my review everywhere possible until they change the way they do business and stop practicing in a fraudulent manner.

Bookit - Vacation Package Booking Review

I reserved my all-inclusive vacation at Krystal Resort thru book it.com for $149 July 2016. Me & another couple confirmed what dates we can go in March. The operator told us we were good for the dates in July. Then we both got emails saying "contact us for urgent matter regarding your reservation". The dates were no good anymore. This happened 3 times!!! Ultimately, bookit.com ends up keeping your $149.00 and I have heard of multiple people complain of this (you're on their schedule). They don't consider people have to work and can't take any day off they want to.

I'm going through the same thing. I think that's exactly I'm heading too. They allowed me to make a reservation in Krystal-Cancun, when they know the resort is sold out.

Bookit - Vacation Package Booking Review

My fiancé and I booked a vacation through bookit.com. A 5 night stay to Cancun Mexico which is all inclusive. I booked this through an agent over the phone. After that I got an itinerary immediately and our credit card was charged. 3 days later I get an email that they suddenly had to cancel our trip. They reimbursed us less than half of the cost. When I call to find out what was going on they told me that THEIR website have the WRONG rates for that particular hotel. Obviously PISSED I argued w them about this and how it is false advertisement they didn't offer to comp my difference for a new trip or even discount me at all especially since it was an error on their part. Still waiting on the 1,000 they owe us. I asked them to speak to a manager and was told that the manager was busy. They did nothing to compensate us for our vacation. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with in my life. NEVER BOOK WITH THEM! They suck for real

Bad Service and No resolve

I have been on the phone with Bookit now for 1.5 hours trying to book a first class ticket from Phl to MCI. I keep getting shuttered around with no resolve. I asked to speak to supervisor and still am on hold. Do you not care about your customers??? I would like a phone call back from a Senior representative. This is very bad customer service . I cant understand why the agents are not well versed in their job roles and try at least to be pleasant and nice. It doesn't cost anything to be pleasant with people and try to accommodate their needs. If you don't want to service the customer , why are you in business?? 856-439-**** Judith Muszynski

I'am still not receiving my refund every time I call to spreak to the other dept about my refund they never pick up the phone so I know what you going thru they will not be getting of my business, I did talk to a civil suit attorney he about to help me get my money back, I did a review on the BBB about this company also.

Going through this now too!! They will NOT upgrade and will not allow the actual airline to make ANY CHANGE to a ticket.

You simply can't take advantage of and upgrade offer!

Customer service??? What customer service..they are all useless and rude!
