Bank was unable to refund money and still no answer from Bookit. Now we have to save money again and book with another travel agent or direct with hotel.

We are out $2300.00 because Bookit.com cancelled our reservation instead of giving us the option to rebook for a later date. We are unable to reach them and our bank is not giving us the money back.

We planned for a trip all inclusive to Mexico. When the pandemic came out, all of a sudden we havent heard anything from them. No emails or notice for refund!!! 5 grand is not a joke.

My family booked a family trip and booked Cancun trip for $5288 from April 5 to 9. Due to pandemic we cancelled on 18 March and promised refund to credit card. This trip was refundable!! As of 8 June there is no refund and credit card company also asked us to pay the charge!!

Refund coronavirus pandemic

I booked a flight and hotel package in February. The company cancelled my reservation in March after 2 payments. The only help I get is to take it up with my credit card company. My credit union doesn't do hotel disputes, so I'm out of $900.

Bookit is a fraud

We paid for a family vacation for 4 to go on in May to Cancun, Mexico. Bookit canceled our trip and kept our money. There wasn't a credit or a refund. They told us we needed to call our bank and credit card to get our refund. Well it doesn't exactly work that way. They shut down and stole millions and millions of dollars from all their customers. We just want our money back and hope they do the right thing. But nobody can get through! If you are thinking about booking with this company, I wouldn't! They will steal your money too!! I would give them no stars if that was an option.

Refund nightmare

In September 2019 I booked a family vacation to Cancun via Bookit.com. When travel restrictions were placed due to Covid-19 I got and email that said my Resort had cancelled, but not my flight. I called the credit card bank I used to book the trip. They quickly refunded nearly the full amount. This week I received word from the bank that they had re-charged my account because Bookit.com did meet a 60-day deadline in getting back to them. I went on line and discovered something strange. Because the cost of the trip was greater than my credit limit I had to split the cost between two cards from the same bank. Account #1 was charged $2500 and Account # 2 was charged $2500. Today I received separate letters from each account. One says the refund will stay, the other says because of the time restriction the money must be re-charged to the account. Same bank, same customer, same Bookit but two different results.

Bookit.com has neglected its responsibility to respond to its customers with reliable information regarding the refunds of prepaid trips booked before or during the COVID 19 pandemic. The company simply closed its doors including the call centers and blocked clients from accessing their accounts. We have been left without anyone to account for the money paid to Booit.com or how the company plans to refund such monies.

my trip to Mexico was scheduled for the end of March. Aprox 3 weeks before my scheduled trip, I received a email stating all trips out of the country were canceled and they had closed down operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic and that we would need to request refund from financial institution. My financial institution is refusing to refund me and any email sent to BOOKit.com bounces back to me and cant reach anyone by phone. I spent almost $3000 on this trip and would like a full refund.

I refuse to speak well of this company. I used bookit to book Easter vacation (4/2020) to Cancun Mexico. I started my payments (2/2020) Total amount paid 2341. Bookit Closed down using COVID as the reason (no other 3rd party has done this). Left no resolution for vacationers. No call center all phones # disconnected NO REFUNDS NO REBOOKING NO NOTHING. They stole money from thousands Id never use another third party to book any vacations. We are left with fighting the banks to get refunded Just a horrible experience

Only get a recording cannot talk to anyone. They canceled my vacation back when this pandemic started and I cannot get a refund until I can talk with them. They owe me 1122.82 that I had pd in my vac that was scheduled at the end of Oct.
