My name is Celia, and to say I'm extremely upset would be an understatement. I booked with you guys for $5.00 down to secure my hotel. Your representative charged my card $1420.00 which caused my mortgage payment to be returned on top of me having to pay a return check fee on top of the return fee from my mortgage company. I've spoken with several very rude customer service agents on top of a manager who said the call with myself and the agent had been listened to. She then confirmed that the agent didn't follow proper protocol and he made several mistakes on the call. She then offered me $100 off of my vacation for the inconvenience. Like several other times, I declined! I told her $100 off for a $1420 error would not suffice. This careless mistake caused a ripple effect of other problems. I refuse to spend money with a company that treat their customers in this manner. My Husband is a lawyer, so I understand advantage that I have, but I'm not trying to go down that road. All I'm asking for is a fair deal for a mistake I didn't make. If you have any questions please contact me.

I tried to modify my reservation due to a Hurricane, to the following week. I literally was hold automated hold for more than 4 hours and 23 minutes before someone picked up. And then, they had to transfer me to "customer service", who answered and then the phone went dead. I did this twice in one day! Absolutely horrible service. I tried moving my hotel arrangements to the following week; even went online and tried to change the hotel completely, but there's no way to change without losing 50% of my money. --- I tried to modify my reservation due to a Hurricane, to the following week. In phoenix. Bell rd. Made reservation weeks ago through book it . Com. 1st fl smoking. Refrigerator 2 beds. We got 1st fl no smoking. No refrig 1 bed. Manager cancelled our reservation to give us lower rate. But we list the points from book it. We put ice in sink to keep food cold. We have several items for dogs. Lost large bag of shredded cheese because water got in. Also can of dog food. Turns out they did have a refrig i could have used. Manager kept coming by saying he could switch us to a room with 2 beds. We were already unpacked so we said no. Wouldnt have fixed the other problems. The tv s are set to volume 40. Which you can barely hear. Unhappy !!!!!!!!

Did an all inclusive through them. Turns out airport they offered was 4 hours away from the resort they offered. There was not one note that this was the case. When I get to the airport I was surrounded by taxi drivers offering to take me for $400. Most companies let you know differences in time to get to accommodations ect. Indicated by asterisk or highlighted. This is something the should've told me. I even spoke to them on the phone for help with the initial booking and no one mentioned it. This is something I should've know prior to going there for the first time ever. They would do nothing to help me.

Bookit - Worst I have ever had

I booked my hotel reservations with Bookit.com. I called the hotel (resort) in advance with some questions, and found out my booking was for a total of 6, and I had a party of 7. The Summit informed me that the booking would not accommodate my party of 7, but to call Bookit or Expedia and they could change my reservations to another resort in their network because other condos were available, but because of Bookit policy, they would need to approve it first. I called them, explained the situation, and Bookit would not work with me on changing it. I had family on their way to my house to leave the following morning, car reserved, and we was to head out the next morning. After an hour of speaking with a representative & the supervisor I was informed the only thing they could do was cancel my reservation, turn it over to their team for review for a possible refund, and it would take 72 hours for my funds to be refunded ( I paid in full for this almost 2 weeks in advance). I explained my family from out of town were on their way, and I could not wait 72 hours to re book after their "team" reviewed my case to see if I could be refunded my money. I was crying at this point, offered to pay more for an upgrade even though I booked for 7 (myself, 3 adults, 3 children). The Summit was unable to help me due to the way Bookit does their business. I had to tell my fiancé the situation, and that he would not be able to go in order for us to not disappoint the Grand Children by not getting to visit the beach. It was a horrible experience with dealing with the travel agent Bookit. I tried every way possible, gave them the reservation clerks name at Summit Resorts name along with a number Bookit could have contacted to arrange a change of their booking, and the supervisor of Bookit summed it up as they gave me the option of canceling, and letting their team decide if I could be refunded 72 hours later or not. Doing this would have meant losing my booking, my vacation funds tied up for 3 days (and possibly not being refunded, that would be left up to the "team"), and that was not even an option with my family already on the road to here for us to leave out the following morning.My vacation I planned out, paid for in advance was destroyed, shattered, and ruined by having to tell my fiancé he could not go in order for the Grand kids , my daughter, and son in law to be able to go after traveling here. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS TRAVEL AGENCY.

Booked a hotel room in Vancouver Canada..when I got my confirmation it showed the total to be paid.. When I looked at my MC bill I had been charged more.. Apparently I'm paying in USD.. I calked and got no where with them.. I never thought booking in Canada to stay in Canada I would have to pay on USD.. Never again will I book with Bookit for that reason!!!

This company has the worst customer service,plus the crappiest website,if you are unlucky like me to have a problem with your reservation due to website malfunction,then you will have the worst experience with the most incompetent customer service and management that refuse to recognize their responsibility in deceiving customers. to make a long story short,my car/hotel/flight reservation turned to a nightmare when I arrived to my destination and found out that there is no car reserved and no resort reserved,after HOURS on the phone with the most incompetent customer service that actually don't care after they get your money ,I ended with booking another car,The company refused to refund me that,because they said they didn't charge me for the car ,despite getting a voucher for the car with multiple bookit people telling me the car was booked. my advice is dont use this horrible company unless you want to ruin you vacation.

In March 2016, my then fiancé decided to get married in Vegas. We got on the phone and contacted bookit to plan our vacation/wedding. I spoke to an agent whom was very nice and even allows me to contact a few other airlines etc to price check and call her back directly. Things were going well...We booked for June 23-26 at the Stratosphere and American Airlines. After I got off the phone with the agent ,the itinerary was sent to me. I noticed that the date read June 23-25. I immediately email the agent to make spence of it. I told her that I noticed our check out is for June 25 before 11a. Since we had said June 26 was our departure day I was puzzled. The agent resplied back saying that because our flight departed at 12:49a on June 26 the hotel would not charge for the full day of the 26th. I then replied "Ok thank u, just don't ant to get kicked out. That was the end of that coversation...trip was booked and I started to plan my wedding. Fast forward June 25th...my now husband did a few errands in Vegas, upon returning to our room the key card would not work. We were puzzled...headed to front desk only to be told we were supposed to be out at 11a....whhhhaaaaattttt? After speaking to manager, we were told we had to either pay for the day of 300 plus or a late check out fee in order to go to room to get luggage. I was so hurt and disappointed. Our mini moon was ruined. We paid for late check out (money we really didn't have) I called Bookit and was laced on hold for what seemed like an eternity only up have the person say there was nothing they could do. I told her I want to speak to a supervisor (hold again)...supervisor/manager never came on phone. I told the agent I had emails she tells me to send to supervisor. She provided the email address and I confirmed it to be sure. Emails were forwarded to supervisor only to not have supervisor acknowledge receipt. No calls or email. Called again on Mon -June 27...another agent...said no notes so I had to tell story alllllll over! Hold again for over 30 min....agent came back...on hold again...again not able to speak to supervisor. Then I am told that they will have to listen to call and in about 3-4 days contact me with resolution. I am not sure if I will ever use book it again. I await the results. How can a manager not speak to a customer.
