Bookit - Hard Rock Cafe said never paid
Checked into Hard Rock in Punta Cana. I owed nothing at check in. A week after I get home they charged my incidental card for incidentals plus full cost of vacation 4k. Said Book it never paid them.
User's recommendation: Book directly.

I posted a recent review about my experience with Bookit.com not booking to single men. It was suggest by this website that I try to call the customer service number, 888-868-0940. I would say try that before you waste your time on their website. I am a 55 year old professional and this is the first bad review I have ever given publicly about either a product or service. Vacation and travel are precious times and memories that I would not dare trust to a company with such a poor record. The videos of satisfied customers do not compare to the many complains I have seen online. Bookit on line=*** POOR. If it sounds to good to be true....

I'll spare the details. Long story short, if you have any issues with your travel reservation and you booked through BookIt, good luck getting any resolution! This company is extremely shady and they'll press on every one of your nerves just so they can keep that hard earned money of yours. DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Try booking.com instead, trust me, you'll be better off. In today's day and age with internet transparency, I can't believe this company is getting away with their shenanigans. The internet is littered full with complaints from people who are in way worse situations than I'm in. Gross!! SHAME on you BookIt!!!
Bookit - Booked the hotel room for May 23,2011 instead of April 23,2011 !
I made reservations for April23,2011 through April24,2011 and they made the reservations fo May23,2011- May24,2011. We drove a long way to the hotel to find out Book-It had made a mistake and screwed up the dates of our stay, it was my daughters birthday and it got ruined because when I called Book-It they told me I could cancel but they already took my money out of my bank account. I tried to do something nice for my daughter and it got ruined by Book-It, They told me I still had reservations for May when my daughter has school thats really sucks. I am really pisssed at this I cried because it upset my daughter that she could not stay at the beach hotel! Sharon
BOOKIT FIXED THE PROBLEM!!!
A few days ago I posted a comment about how BookIt.com mishandled a hotel reservation. Since then, a representative from the resolutions department contacted me and worked very diligently to resolve the problem. Thank you Keira!!! She was very helpful and professional and was able to find a us a nice hotel in the same vicinity. I'm glad we gave them a second chance!! Any other company would have swept the problem under the rug, but they persevered and resolved the issue. I travel often and look forward to doing business with BookIt in the future! Alicia R.
